In 1972, I happened on a lecture by Alan Watts that pretty much exploded my mind. I continued to poke around Yoga and Buddhism through the 70s and 80s—without much consistency or discipline—but I would always find myself returning to it.

In the mid-90s I fell in love with a rigorous martial art from Japan and trained in it for 18 years: Amagure no Sato Ryu Ninjutsu. I retired in 2013, but continue to depend on the discipline, clarity and focus it distilled in me. In 1999 I sought out other Tao practices to complement my martial training and began learning the Qigong, Neigong and Taiji of Universal Healing Tao. I found them so transformative that I’ve been using them as my guide ever since. Most of all, they offer a lens through which I could view my life and the universe… in a way that embraces nature, spirit and our human heart.

After many years learning these methods for myself, I expanded my practice first through teaching, then through energetic healing. I’m a Medical Qigong Therapist and Senior Instructor of Universal Healing Tao. In my current practice, healing and teaching are intertwined–I teach classes and courses in Qigong, Neigong and Ovarian Kung Fu alongside my one-on-one training and healing practice.

Miranda’s Brooklyn New York website: https://tiger-heart-tao.com/

Françoise Monnet-Pichon

When I met Universal Healing Tao in 2003, I felt a complete revolution in my life. Before that , I used to be a musician and a music teacher. I started practicing Healing Tao regularly because I could feel all the good benefits Qigong, Taiji and Meditation gave me. I gradually felt that something was changing in my life and I went to Tao garden to become a Universal Healing Tao Instructor in 2008. Since then, I’ve been teaching in Oyonnax a small town in the eastern part of France where I live.

In 2011 I met Masahiro Ouchi during a workshop he gave in Vienna. I immediately enjoyed the way Masahiro talks about Healing Tao practices. He opened another dimension for me and has had a big influence on my teaching and my own practice. I regularly attend Masahiro’s seminars to continue to improve. Currently, I’m expanding my practice by learning Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage with Masahiro.

Francoise’s Oyonnax France website: http://artsdutao.fr/

Masahiro Ouchi Masahiro Ouchi is the Founder and Director of Healing Tao Center of New York, Founder of the TaoZen…

["post-15","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
